Through her love of colour and design, Malene takes us on a journey through her heart as she navigates events of recent years.

Whilst rediscovering a love of drawing from her early years, she developed a newfound passion for translating her colourful designs onto canvas. She gravitates towards black canvases to provide a simple backdrop for the colours to sing and enjoys incorporating the negative space as a part of the design.

This collection for her first exhibition reflects on the importance of connectedness of the heart as it journeys through the challenges, joys and whimsy of life.
