Join artist Cat Leonard for a term of exploring the 30x30 format, in a variety of surfaces.
Choosing any subject that inspires you, we will explore composition, creating a series, preparing surfaces, painting techniques, mixed media, and completing work for exhibiting, including mounting work and mechanisms for hanging it.
There is also opportunity to join the Sim+Co group SALA exhibition which you will be asked to register for early in term 2 (a small fee applies to cover catering, program registration, signage, floor sheet printing and if required, canvas can be added too)

We are NOT a cookie cutter studio... so your project will look nothing like the other students, there is plenty of opportunity to make it uniquely yours. The skills and tools you learn you use over and over for years to come!
