Artist Lisa Green will take you on a creative portrait adventure over three consecutive weeks. Lisa has a unique way to make drawing and painting portraits simple and fun. A sense of play within the lessons, loosening up, not getting too caught up in theory. Lots of playful mark making and you will find your portrait emerge from the page before your eyes.
Lisa’s philosophy, one all our teachers embody, art is for everyone, art should involve play and be full of joy!
Week 1 - CHARCOAL - drawing from reference photos you will enjoy this loose and spontaneous mark making process.
Week 2 - GRAPHITE PENCIL - as above using graphic pencil and interesting techniques
Week 3 - ACRYLIC PAINT - One colour only (Monochromatic) study of your portrait
- No experience necessary. Suitable for all levels of experience.

Lisa is a passionate portrait artist, who has always been drawn to sketching and painting faces in a variety of mediums. She takes a lifelong learning approach to medium and technique which keeps it fresh and fun.
Lisa enjoys sharing her delight in the process and mentoring others to simplify the steps and to gain the confidence to create meaningful and satisfying pieces.
