Sim will introduce you to multiple mediums in this amazing full day event!
Learn how to create, from scratch, her signature style of mixed media portraits. And YES… if can be a pet portrait if you prefer!
Yes, we understand that the thought of creating a face may be cause some concerns... please don't worry. This is about being brave, adventurous and having a bit of fun. We don't need to take it too seriously.
No, you don’t need to know how to draw faces for this expressive, contemporary fun look at humans.
The process is lovely and creative, the environment relaxing and nurturing and you will be surprised at what you can achieve with a bit of guidance.
Using references, tracing methods we will create exciting energetic artworks.
You will acquire some watercolour and drawing skills, enjoy the process and this exercise will give you a way to look at creating a face in a very free, contemporary and fun way. The skills you learn you will be able to apply to other artworks you do in the future.
You’ll also have opportunity to use acrylic paint, watercolours, pens and pencils, collage and more!
Lots of easy, fun techniques to bring your portrait to life in your own unique way. Beginners welcome!
PLUS you’ll enjoy a delicious healthy catered lunch, BYO drinks if you’d like them for the afternoon.
